Below is general information which applies to all children.

Illness: Please phone the school office on 01483 222442 to let us know if your child won't be attending school for any reason.  Please don't send your child to school if they're generally unwell, for example with a temperature or sickness or diarrhoea.   School office staff will ask you about the symptoms of your child's illness to see if there is a pattern with other children in school with similar symptoms.   

To help your child get the most out of school and avoid spreading infection to others, please don't send them back to school until they've been well for 24 hours.  If your child has vomited or had diarrhoea, they must stay away from school until 48 hours after the last bout of illness.  

End of the Day: If your child is being collected from school by someone other than  their parent or regular carer, please let a member of school staff know.  You can do this either in person or by phoning the school office, or writing a note.  If someone other than a parent will regularly collect your child from school, please let us know in writing and we will make a note of the arrangement.
