How to donate to Clandon School
From time to time, we are asked by parents and members of our community how they can support us through donations. We are very grateful for this generosity. Both Clandon and Shere Schools have a Governors Fund. This is a form of account that is registered with HMRC as what is called an “exempt charity”. This enables us to claim Gift Aid on all donations we receive, increasing the amount we receive by 25%. We ask anyone offering to donate to our school who is a UK taxpayer to complete a Gift Aid form (available below) and return this to the school office marked ‘Donation’ for the attention of Fiona McGowan.
To make your donation, you can either:
- Make an electronic transfer to our Governors Fund Bank Account (for a one-off donation)
- Set up a direct debit in favour of our Governors Fund Bank Account (if you would prefer your donation to be in the form of a given amount each month for one or more years).
- Provide us with a cheque/cash and, if you prefer this option, please include this in the envelope with your Gift Aid form.
